Gumroad Alternatives for African Creators: Sell Globally Without Stripe

Gumroad expects Stripe or PayPal for payouts, which many African creators cannot use. Here is how to sell digital products worldwide and get paid locally.

The Gumroad problem for African creators

Gumroad is popular worldwide, but payouts rely on Stripe or PayPal. For many creators in Nigeria and across Africa, that means payouts are hard or impossible to receive.

What you actually need

Foreign buyers paying by card in dollars

Local buyers paying by bank transfer

Money arriving in your local bank account

Automatic delivery of your file or access link

How Linkhut does it

Sell e-books, presets, courses, beats and templates from your Hutpage. Buyers abroad pay by card in USD through Flutterwave; buyers in Nigeria pay by transfer, OPay or card through Paystack. Both settle to your Nigerian bank account – Linkhut never holds your money.
