How JPI Powered Its Youth Assembly on Linkhut: 450+ Tickets, 480+ Subscribers and One Living Community Page

How JPI chapters across Nigeria used Linkhut Hutpages to sell event tickets, register attendees, grow a subscriber list and keep following up long after the conference ended.

Selling tickets for a conference in Nigeria usually means juggling a payment link, a Google Form, a WhatsApp group and a spreadsheet. JPI chose a different path. Chapters of the JPI Youth Assembly, including the Lagos State Chapter, ran their events on Linkhut Hutpages: one page for tickets, registration, community and follow-up.

The challenge: one conference, many chapters

JPI operates through state chapters. Each chapter needed to sell its own tickets, collect money directly into its own bank account and talk to its own members, while still looking like part of one organisation.

The solution: a Hutpage for every chapter

Every chapter got its own Hutpage at a simple link such as linkhut.co/jpilagos. On that single page, attendees could:

Pick a ticket tier and pay by bank transfer, OPay or card

Pay in installments with HutPay where the chapter allowed it

Receive their ticket confirmation instantly, including on WhatsApp

Subscribe to the chapter for updates

The results

22 events run across JPI chapter pages

450+ tickets sold and registered through Linkhut checkout

480+ subscribers who opted in to hear from their chapters

More than a ticket link

After the conference, most ticket links die. JPI's Hutpages kept working. Chapters used Engage to send updates, thank-you notes and announcements for the next programme to the subscribers they had gathered. The page became a permanent home for the community, not a one-time checkout.

Why it worked

Money goes straight to the chapter. Payments settle to each chapter's own bank account.

Local checkout that converts. Transfer, OPay and card options built for Nigerian buyers, with international payments for members abroad.

Audience you own. Every attendee can become a subscriber you can reach again.

Clear, low fees. Simple per-ticket fees, published on our pricing page.

If JPI could do this on Linkhut, you can too

Whether you run a Rotaract club, an alumni association, a church programme or a professional body, you can sell event tickets in Nigeria, register attendees and grow your community from one link.
